Breddos started life as a makeshift taco shack in a Hackney car park in 2013, and the spirit of that origin — direct, unapologetic, technique-led — has survived the move to a permanent home on Goswell Road in Clerkenwell. The menu draws on American and Mexican roadside taqueria cooking, with tacos and tostadas built around quality British produce alongside mezcal and tequila taken seriously. The cocktail list is as considered as the food. The room is intentionally casual and buzzy, with vinyl playing and bar counter seating that makes solo dining easy.
